Are utilities included in the rent at Streetcar Flats?
No, utilities are billed separately from rent. You’ll set up electric and gas service in your own name. Water and sewer are billed back through a ratio utility billing system (RUBS), and shared community electricity is back-billed monthly. A $6 monthly utility billing fee and a $3 monthly pest control fee also apply.
What are the move-in costs and fees at Streetcar Flats?

We offer flexible lease terms, including select short-term furnished options. Typical leases range from 12 to 14 months, with shorter terms also available.
- If you’d like to go month to month after your lease ends, a $300 month-to-month fee applies.
- If you’d like to move to a different apartment, a $300 transfer fee applies.
- If your plans change, early termination is permitted with 60 days’ notice and payment of the early termination fee, which depends on your apartment and rent.
Is renters’ insurance required at Streetcar Flats?
Yes. All residents are automatically enrolled in the property’s liability insurance program for $22 per month. If you’d rather use your own policy, you can opt out by providing proof of insurance that meets the coverage requirements in your lease.
When is rent due at Streetcar Flats?
Rent is posted on the 1st of each month and due by the 3rd. Starting on the 4th, a one-time late fee of 10% of base rent applies, with no additional daily fees. Returned (NSF) payments carry a $75 fee. To stay on track, set a reminder or enroll in autopay through the resident portal.

Do you run credit and background checks, and what income or credit qualifications are required at Streetcar Flats?
Yes. We run a soft credit screening through Experian, and applicants need a positive credit history with a minimum credit score of 650. Self-qualifying applicants must show income of at least 2.5 times the monthly rent. Applicants using a guarantor must show income of at least 3 times the monthly rent.
How long does it take to get approved for an apartment at Streetcar Flats?
Application processing typically takes anywhere from under 24 hours to 72 hours, depending on screening wait times. Once you’re approved, you may be able to sign your lease and move in the same day if your apartment is ready!
How soon after applying can I move into Streetcar Flats?
Subject to availability, you can move in as soon as you complete your application, receive approval, and sign your lease, often within 24 hours!
Are furnished apartments available at Streetcar Flats?
Apartments are generally unfurnished, but select short-term furnished options may be available on a limited basis. To check furnished availability, contact the leasing office.
How does trash work at Streetcar Flats?
Streetcar Flats offers valet trash pickup on weekday nights at 6 PM, at no extra charge. Just set your can out, and bring it back in by 9 AM the following day.
How are packages delivered, and where do I pick them up at Streetcar Flats?
Depending on the carrier and package size, packages are delivered either right to your apartment or to your mailbox in the on-site mailroom.
Is there visitor parking at Streetcar Flats?
Guests can park on the surrounding public streets. Street parking is subject to local regulations and availability, so check posted signage when you have visitors.
How do lease renewals and rent renewal offers work at Streetcar Flats?
We send renewal offers well before your notice deadline, so you have plenty of time to review your options and plan ahead.
Are there resident events or community activities at Streetcar Flats?

How do I submit a maintenance request at Streetcar Flats?
Submitting a maintenance request is simple! You can submit it through the resident portal, by phone, text, or email, or by stopping by the leasing office in person. Our team will follow up to get it resolved quickly, and emergency after-hours maintenance is available too.
What is the decorating policy at Streetcar Flats?
You’re welcome to personalize your apartment and make it feel like home! Just keep in mind that any damage beyond normal wear and tear may result in charges deducted from your security deposit at move-out.
What is the pet policy at Streetcar Flats?
Pets are welcome at Streetcar Flats with prior approval! To approve a pet, we’ll need:
- a signed pet agreement
- proof of required shots
- proof of city license, if applicable
- a photo of your pet
Pets require a $200 pet deposit, a $300 pet fee, and $45 monthly pet rent, and size or weight limits may apply. Animals on the property without approval may result in a $200 fee plus $50 per day.
Streetcar Flats doesn’t allow exotic animals or certain dog breeds (including mixes). Examples include, but aren’t limited to:
- Pit Bulls (Bull Terriers or American Staffordshire Terriers)
- Rottweilers
- German Shepherds
- Doberman Pinschers
- Chow Chows
- Akitas
- Huskies
Assistance animals aren’t considered pets and aren’t subject to breed restrictions or pet fees. You’ll still need prior written approval from management before bringing an assistance animal onto the property. Contact the leasing office for full pet policy details.
